Direct Support Professional DSP
About the Role
Assist clients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep).
Support individuals with diverse needs including Alzheimer’s, dementia, and autism.
Monitor vitals and document changes in health status.
Implement individualized care plans and maintain HIPAA compliance.
Maintain a safe, clean living environment and hygiene standards.
Assist with medication administration as directed by clinicians.
Engage clients in community and social activities. Provide companionship and emotional support.
Use lifts (e.g., Hoyer) for safe transfers when needed. Collaborate with healthcare teams for coordinated care.
