Non-Medical Transportation (NMT) Driver / DSP
About the Role
Treasure Healthcare Services is seeking dependable and compassionate Non-Medical Transportation (NMT) Drivers / DSPs to provide safe and reliable transportation for individuals with developmental disabilities.
This is a part-time, as-needed position paid at $18.00 per completed authorized trip. This is not an hourly position, and the number of available trips will vary based on client transportation needs.
Drivers will use their own reliable, approved, and insured personal vehicle to transport individuals to and from authorized destinations such as employment, day programs, appointments, and other community locations.
NMT Drivers are responsible for completing scheduled pickups and drop-offs on time, safely assisting individuals as needed, following transportation and safety requirements, and accurately documenting completed trips through Accrecy.
Applicants must be qualified or able to qualify as a DSP, have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, and maintain current vehicle registration and automobile insurance. Drivers must also meet Treasure Healthcare Services and applicable Ohio DODD employment and transportation requirements.
Reliability is essential. Once a driver accepts a scheduled or recurring transportation assignment, they are expected to consistently complete that assignment unless properly relieved or otherwise approved by Treasure Healthcare Services.
This position is ideal for DSPs looking for flexible, supplemental work without committing to a traditional hourly schedule.
